We are a creative film production company based in Mumbai

At Nayak Film Company, we believe the most powerful stories aren’t the ones that offer easy escapes — they’re the ones that hold up a mirror. The ones that stay with you. Challenge you. Maybe even change you.

Founded by filmmaker Naren Singh Nayak, our work is built on a simple truth: real life is messy, painful, beautiful, and often brutally unfair. It’s in these raw, unfiltered places that the stories worth telling are born.

At Nayak Film Company, we’re not here just to entertain. We’re here to spark something. To ask the hard questions. To make you think, feel, and sometimes sit in your discomfort — because that's where empathy, change, and understanding begin.

If you're looking for cinema that isn't afraid to dig deep and get real, you're in the right place.

Nayak Film Company — Real stories. Raw emotions. No compromises.

Naren Singh Nayak is a storyteller who isn’t afraid to explore the raw, messy edges of human nature.

Through his screenplays—The Relapse, a psychological drama about love, guilt, and self-destruction, and The Girl Who Ran Away, a harrowing tale of caste violence and resilience—he gives voice to those often left unheard. His characters feel achingly real: a man struggling with violent urges while yearning for redemption, a young woman defying oppression at great personal cost. Nayak’s writing doesn’t shy away from darkness, but beneath the brutality lies deep empathy—an understanding of pain, survival, and the flawed ways people cope. With striking visuals and unflinching honesty, his stories linger long after the final scene, challenging viewers to confront uncomfortable truths about society—and themselves.

Our films — from the twisted psychological depths of The Relapse to the harsh social realities explored in The Girl Who Ran Away — confront what society often hides. We dive into uncomfortable truths: the guilt no one talks about, the violence brushed under the carpet, the systemic injustices endured in silence. Our storytelling is fearless, unflinching, and unapologetically real.
